No idea who we rest / rotate & how strong we go. I saw they lost 2-1 on the weekend but not sure if they rested players for this or not.

Go as strong as we can afford to go against them in the home game.

Try to get a good lead that then allows us to rotate more for the away leg.



Realistically they are about as strong now as a Fulham or Palace team at best but will be more inclined to come at us that most as that is how they tend to play in Europe.


They *should* be a bit more open than the PL teams we come against.

To give the main 3 strikers a rest so they are fresh for the league matches. Until Jota returns we’ve only got the 4 main strikers & they shouldn’t be playing 2 matches every week & expect them to be at their best. Thought it was self explanatory but apparently it’s not.

First leg of a european quarter final and it being at Anfield?


Think we will go pretty strong and look to have a nice lead before the away leg in Italy kicks off three away games in a row.


With this weekend's game also being at Anfield we gain a bit of rest time through the players not having to travel.
