I don’t know what to make of that game. So many loose passes in bad areas, weird substitutions, just doing the same thing over and over with floated crosses or straight balls down the middle into the area. You’d think with how much we’ve struggled to score you might cptry something different for once. And Klopp backed the kids earlier even when it matter so I don’t get why Danns wasn’t out on in that game.

Not long ago we were flying but it’s all fallen apart so quickly and we’ve suddenly dropped a few levels down. I agree with what others have said maybe the emotion of trying for the big send off has got to them and once we dropped that little bit they couldn’t get it back and mentally hit the wall big time.

CL is still not confirmed so I wouldn't check out just yet.

It looks the the ghost of the Henderson clipped cross to no one at all has transferred itself to Robertson.

The simple fact of the matter is that the players couldn't handle the pressure. I don't think it was anything to do with Klopp being on his way, or tiredness, or the players not giving a ****. Ironically, the players may have played with more freedom if they gave less of a **** about the title and just went out and played the game in front of them. We won the league after amassing an early, unassailable lead, that did not require a no-margin-for-error run-in. We've got no recent experience of having a lead near the end of the season and maintaining it to the end after a close-fought battle, and this time it looks like we're not even going to hold it 'close'.

Is Konate still carrying an injury? Looks so off it right now Quansah deserves to be ahead of him for the rest of the season.

I said in the last match thread I was worried that the changes we made for that were to rest players for this game rather than dropping most of them as they deserved. I feared performances like this.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Well, looking on the brightside - we have an absolute less-than-once in a lifetime generation of fantastic young prospects. I hope the new manager sees it that way too. Use them right and along with transfer money we could build an epic team. I don't really want to use Fergies early Man U as an example but.. you know what I mean.

**** this flatter to deceive season.
                  Really?

True, no Klopp team has ever really been able to maintain end of season composure, but I would put that down to them being ****ed by March, tbh.

They might have to- apparently Gakpo has a birthday party he has to go to, so won’t be available…
                      I don't tip

I have said it before but there is no cohesion in our link up or attacking play. Salah is anonymous, Nunez has periods in games where he offers stuff and times where he is anonymous.Diaz offers a threat running with the ball but final ball is either off or players aren't making the runs.

The Salah-Mane-Firmino front line had great understanding or intelligence and made it look easy our front line at the moment is the opposite.

The uncertainty of what the future might hold just has to be a distraction. And the closer it gets the more of a factor it becomes.

It worked for a while, just Max out the emotional engagement, but how many games in a row can they ‘do it for Jurgen’? It looks like there’s little else now.

Throw in some ****ing horrendous officiating which would have enabled us a buffer going into April. Our usual brutal run of injuries, and it’s just not meant to be.
You can't scour Europe for a new manager without it coming out. It was probably about to come out so they got ahead of it. I think it's taken the edge off the team though. Klopp eeking out the last drops of the team has gone now,the spirit has to have dropped a bit.

Massive rebuild ahead for us I fear. Could take years.
