      The ref has definitely ****ed up and tried his best to cover it up. Cheating cunts.
      Gakpo is far too beige, lack of killer instinct.
      Ask yourself this, what would have Suarez done... he'd have taken the ball around the keeper and smashed it into the net before sinking his fangs and drinking his blood, that's the sort of full on commitment we are sadly missing.

        Would love to hear an explanation for that decision but we won't.
        The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

          Apparently PGMOL have said that the ref was playing an advantage for a foul on the keeper and when there was no advantage, he stopped play.

          Firstly, there was no foul, and secondly, if that was true it would have been a free kick to West Ham but the game restarted via an uncontested drop ball. So they’re lying again.

            And got a booking and achieved nothing. Credit to Gakpo for reacting to the situation, most wouldn’t, and curse the ref for blowing the whistle.

                    Suarez wouldn't have hesitated, as soon as the ball left the goalkeepers fingers he'd have been on it like a seagull on a dropped kebab, well before the ref could blow the whistle.

                            Select second half, it’s at 85 mins. That is not a foul, even if it was, advantage had been achieved. After the performative treatment, the ref calls Gakpo over for a drop ball and he says he won’t contest it, the ref drops the ball and the keeper picks it up and kicks it out of his hands. A other refereeing **** show.

                                Just seen the video of it and to be fair it looks like he’s joking about the media reaction. He’s smiling and looks relaxed. The quotes make it seem worse than it looked. That’s my take anyway.
