If they are keeping Slot then you feel they really have to back him in the market, there can't be any other excuses of we didn't have the right players or a big enough squad to play the right style etc. And the squad needs some serious work. We need at least two starting forwards possibly 3 give Ekitike will be out for a year and Isak hasn't proved himself to be reliable fitness wise. We need a #6 and likelyva RB. We have to replace some big characters in the dressing room and on the pitch in Salah and Robertson, possibly Alisson and Gomez, plus potentially MacAllister and Jones, we have squad players like Endo and Chiesa who will almost certainly move on and we have Konate's contract to sort out. The new season also comes after a WC so there is capable he'll of alot to do and the manager can't afford a bad start to the season...

Come on guys, if that’s the decision, let’s put this god awful and uniquely catastrophic season behind us and give out full support going forward. What will be, will be.

    Calm down mother****ers

If slot was staying he'd already have had a contract extension.
The other Dutch guy is on hold until we confirm slots going by mutual Dutch ruddering.

It's a ****fest, but club ******s trying to keep it looking like just another day at the office

Surely though, if they bring in the fella from Holland, which has now been reported by all the local journalists, then that more or less confirms Slot is staying, no? He is the same coach he wanted to bring with him a couple of seasons ago, but the move fell through because he couldn't get a work permit at the time.

I've said it before, if we don't start strongly next season, there will be a lot of pressure on Slot and FSG.

    Yeah.

This is the end of the Rodgers era all over again. We can all see what’s coming. The only people who can’t are FSG. Some of the things that are broken cannot be fixed by this management team.

So is he joining as a third assistant or are we getting rid of the other two useless ones we already have?

Sticking with Slot then, if this is correct.

Nope. It wouldn't be an even remotely feasible situation. And you're right, he's too self aware to enter into such an arrangement.
