Want to win this game. Villa have looked exhausted recently, but they'll want to sign off at home with a win so it should be interesting.

Just looking at the table this game could have a big impact on how Spurs play against City. A Villa win means they can't get 4th spot and CL football, so have nothing to play for against City, any other result basically means they could get 4th with 2 wins and other results going their way, so would have to go for it against City. And they are one of the sides that have a decent record against City
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Not sure what appetite Spurs will have for winning the City game no matter what happens tonight...

Fans are one thing but surely the players want CL football, they aren’t a team of local lads who grew up as Spurs fans, willing to sacrifice 4th to stop Arsenal winning the league. surely if there is a chance of CL football they will try their best to make it happen. Of course if they did get a result the lap of honour might be interesting...

Wish I could sneer at that and call it small time, but we as a fanbase have been that way many times and especially when the red Mancs were going for a title.

Can recall being at Anfield for a game against Arsenal (we beat them 4-0 but Arsenal still won the title), and most of the game being sing songs like "stand up if you hate Man U" bouncing between the away end and the home support.

Same in a game that we lost 3-1 (I think) against Leeds (was the game that Alan Smith made his debut in) and the crowd spent a good chunk of the game singing about Man U.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Missed training on Friday with a niggle, apparently, so presumably he’s not being risked.
