Slots use of chiesa is boiling my piss. Reminds me of Litmanen under houllier. Two class players and rarely seen. Criminal.

The work rate this guy shows and passion for the fight is exactly what the team needs. Plus he’s shown he’s still capable of producing the goods. I want to see Chiesa and Wirtz playing together. Both of them are so intelligent and would link up and open teams up. They’ll create and score goals if played properly.

Agree with you all. He always gives his all for us & it’s unimaginable the way he’s being treated by Slot.

Agree on the quality gulf with Mane. The only comparisons I would make between the two of them are them being notable in terms of being able to play in a lot of positions and both seemingly having high levels of physical attributes.


I say seemingly as I have not seen enough of Semenyo to say that for sure.


The Yildiz links I have seen online (Yeah I know, the nadir of reliability ) and on one or two shows.

We will probably see more of Chiesa and Frimpong on the right soon with Mo off with Egypt. Might also see more of Dom there again like on the weekend.

Starting Mo on the right could be fine as long as we don't also start Gakpo on the left. One of them needs a visit to bench town in favour of a player who gives us other options and the oppos other problems.

well unfortunately for Chiesa, he's not getting much game time under Slot & I have no doubts Mo will be starting tomorrow.

I have no issues with Mo start one of the three games this week as we do need to rotate (though prefer him tpo get that start against Leeds than against Sunderland). However I think what we need now is to see Mo becoming one of the rotation options rather than a nailed on started.

Let him start one from three or whatever for a time, unless of course his form catches fire and he earns the starting berth.

Gakpo is more than fine on the left imo as long as we get the balance right on the other flank and have pace to go with quality on that side. Think you need a direct sort of threat on at least one flank be it through pace and/or the ability to pump good chances in to a forward game after game.


Don't think anyone sees Chiesa as a long term solution, but he would certainly be, imo of course, a good short to medium term contributor that brings more positives than negatives pretty much every time he plays.

That way we carry threat from both flanks.
