It’s definitely baffling.

We’ve been bad enough for long enough that it has to be worth giving him a start. You wonder if we over do the whole data side of things and that’s what has been an issue.

It was the same with Gomez. Giving him a start seemed obvious to me for a couple of months but Arne doesn’t see it.

His biggest downfall has been an inability to build and trust depth in the squad.
