I think he realises that this is a great opportunity for him, being at Liverpool and I’ve no doubt he’s working really hard to make it work as it is probably his last chance at a major club. Glad to see he is taking it. I think everyone wants to see him do well because they can see the hard work he has put in and his realism about his chances is also refreshing. I think he is likely to replace gakpo as a starter. All good, because gakpo is also a decent player. Glad he got a goal today.

Another impact, albeit ultimately fruitless for us. The guy scores or creates pretty much every game.

His numbers are a goal/assist every 80-90mins. I doubt he'd get that if he started more and as you say he's coming on when chasing games but... Those numbers are not to be sniffed at.
