this international break is always the one that really annoys me because we are just getting back into watching the league games and the momentum is killed.....

Back to forest, i am hoping that we have a fit squad and are all good to go.

This will be very interesting to see how we line up because it is the first of the run of 2 games per week from here on...... I expect to see an unchanged lineup though. Hoping that we are a few goals to the good early in the game and can bring players off early in the second half......

Would like to see Chiesa, Jones and Elliott get some minutes too.

Think Nunez may get a start and Chiesa may be brought on for the final 30 mins or so given Salah, Diaz and Jota all played a lot of minutes for their countries. Think Gakpo played two games also.

Wonder if Bradley might get the nod over TAA? Both played for their countries but as TAA did not get a full pre season his minutes might be managed to keep him ready for the CL game against Milan.

yeah i was thinking the same about Bradley.....

Quansah too - i wonder will Slot bring him in now in the knowledge that Konate can't play loads of games in succession.....

I don't think there will be wholesale changes though to be honest and if everyone is fit, i could actually see him start with the same team. With maybe Trent, MacAllister and 2 of the front 3 all coming off at around 65min onwards

Think that is the most likely option. None of the starters have put a foot wrong in the opening three games.

My thinking was based upon minute management ahead of a very busy period and to give two or three with a lot of international minutes in their legs a one game break.

If we took Jota, Konate and TAA from the starting XI and replasced them with Nunez, Quansah and Bradley and then used Chiesa to replace one of Slah or Diaz after 60 mins we really should still have more than enough quality to put Forest away at Anfield.

Be good too to get some competive minutes into the guys that are at present our back ups.

Jones would be another that might need some game time be it from the bench or as a starter as he tends to need a bit of time to get up to speed after a long time out.

Really nice problem for Slot to have though, what with us having an almost fully fit and available squad to choose from.

Also nice that at the moment having a "weaker" team means one that might have players like Jones, Chiesa, Nunez, Bradley, Gomez and Quansah in it.

            Proper quality in depth that.

Yaaa me too, but I do like the fact that after having their pants pulled down by their biggest rivals, United fans have had to dwell on that result for an extra week.
                I don't tip

Unchanged. Chiesa doesn't make the squad.

Not broken so don't fix it!!!

Although I think 4 defenders on the bench at home to forest is a bit cautious

Ssme team 3 games in a row?

                            When did that last happen?
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Chiesa and Elliott not being available has forced that decision to some extent tbf. As far as 1st teamers go anyway.

Chiesa was in training all week (and looked good tbf). But I can understand the caution with him.
