They said it will take 15-16 points to finish top 8. So that's 2 wins and 3 losses. After Leverkuson and Madrid, our last 3 games are easier. We never beat Madrid anyway so we should just play the second XI + youngsters in that one.

Good performance, for the most part, away against a good in form team.


Couple of shakey perfromers in the team, but the likes of Kelleher, Konate, Gravenberch and Nunez were all vying for MOTM for me.

Gakpo was unlucky not to have gotten on the scoresheet too.


We kept some very good attacking players at bay and were up against a very mobile and quick back line.


Most seem to think that 15 points will be enough to get a top 8 finish in the league stage of the CL so nicely set now with 9 points and 15 left to play for.

Some great moves in that game. Felt like men against boys at times. Gakpo should really have buried one of the two chances he got.

Saying that, I thoroughly enjoyed watching Gakpo all night. The weight on that pass for Tsimi's cross was brilliant. Simple, but brilliant. Gakpo 2.0 is a huge upgrade.
