If he keeps being **** then we replace him in January. We're not his daycare, he's a first team player that needs to pull his weight out he'll be out.

The pass he attempted was very casual and sloppy. You won’t see VVD, Konate or Gomez do that. He’ll learn but he did give it away not long after with another sloppy pass. You’d think training with them everyday he’d know that’s not the way to play.

He’s very confident and had a great first season and a difficult second season was always on the cards. How he comes through it will tell us if he’s up to the level or not. He’s got the right people around him to help him but it’s up to him but you just can’t be that casual in those areas of the pitch and let teams back in to games.

I think he’ll come through and be a good player for the club for many years.

Quansah sub was brutal. He was unlucky with the deflection for the second.

I believe we were waiting to make the sub when their second goal went in, so it wasn't as brutal as it seemed, just bringing on some fresh legs to see out the game, as Quansah has had little match time since game day 1

Bad day at the office for him coupled with a really bad piece of luck with the deflection.


Young players with a small number of games under their belt will have big dips in form from time to time so is par for the course and something we have to expect and accept as he gains experience.

Lad has only played in 36 games for us and still very much learning his trade.


Will no doubt get a little bit of a dressing down over what he should have been better at but I imagine most of what gets said post game will be focussing on using it as a lesson on how to improve.

With guys like VVD, Konate and Gomez there to learn from as senior pros along with a good back room team, if Quansah brings the willingness to want to improve he will be in good hands.

Nice and tidy - played about an hour. He can clearly pass the ball and is press resistant.
