Curtis Jones is looking so good right now. He’s matured well and looks the player we all hoped he’d become. That pass was a thing of beauty. A player that can open teams up like that makes a huge difference.
I'll admit he’s frustrated me plenty at times and thought he should have got to a higher level earlier in his career but also I need to remember to be patient as some players take a bit more time plus injuries have cost him consistent game time.
Also good to see Gakpo and Diaz getting plenty of goals so far, long may it continue. Did Diaz do a Bobby no looker for his hat trick?
I'm really surprised at how good the season had been so far. I keep waiting for the fall but it's been a brilliant start.
Edwards & Co picking the right man, not the fashionable one.
I read about him beofre he got the job,Think i said on here he sounded a decent fit, But some balls on the line to appoint him.
I know we will have bad times ahead, But he is calmness personified.

Still early days but I like his chilled out vibe. He's not trying to be anyone but himself and players seem to be really envigorated by him.
Im not sure that we wouldnt have gone for Alonso had he been available. A classy manager and a classy person.
But we got the result and made them look ordinary
I’m not sure we would have. The club took a data driven approach in making their decision. With little over a year as a top flight coach at the time, it’s a tiny sample size for them to be deciding on Xabi.
A massively popular choice among fans and media for obvious reasons, but probably not enough of a track record at that point to be top choice for the data nerds.
Xabi was without a doubt the sentimental favorite but wow we really got it iga appointing Arne. His ability to tweak things when we are struggling is amazing. Can’t wait to see us utterly destroy a side soon when we actually put a 90 min performance together.

Jones is definitely up another level or two. His pressing in that 10 position has been awesome and he looks a bit faster around the ground.
He’s still so young too. Credit to Klopp for shoving him the experience and not giving up on him too soon and Slot for putting him in that role.
He can play deeper but I think he’s thriving in the advanced role. Rotating him and Szobo is no drop off atm.
