Newcastle away Wednesday 4th Dec at 730 pm

They haven’t been playing well but it’s an evening home match for them so you’d expect their fans will be up for it.

It’ll be interesting to see if anyone gets a rest but defensively we don’t have much depth so possibly the same back 5. Nunez might come in for Diaz or Gakpo so midfield is the main area that we could rotate I suppose. Jones to start for either Macca or Szoboszlai or does Moreton or Endo get some minutes?

Same day Arsenal at home to United & City at home to Forest. Go the away teams
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Definitely a tough game but I think we'll be too good for them.

Start with Jones, Szob and Mac Allister, bring on Endo and Elliott on the 70th minute. Morton can also play if needed.

Gravenberch could definitely do with a night off I agree

Endo Jones Elliott start for me. Bench the others. Can always bring them on

I don't see Elliott starting given he is just back from a few months out injured and just had a few mins run out at the weekend.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

            Against Newcastle away!!!???

I’d say Jones can come in but then it’s two of the other three starters from yesterday. Arsenal have an improved Utd to play it’s tine to try and hammer hone any advantage.
            Modifying post.

                Exciting times
Kelleher (heck why drop him now?)
                TAA Gomez VvD Robbo
                Gravo Macca Jonesy
                Salah Nunez Gakpo

Against Everton we can rest Grav, Gakpo and maybe even Salah for Szob, Diaz and Elliott. Bring them on after half time though if needed, obviously.

The Everton game will be a tough one, it will be the last derby at Goodison so Everton will be well up for it you would imagine.

I think we're past the days of emotional baggage. That's the main thing Slot has brought. Madrid have the juju on us? No problem we'll play it safe. City always claw their way back? Nope, we'll do a professional job on them.

Everton players and fans will again try to use bitterness to cover their numerous failings? Guess who's evaluating those failings? For the first time I feel 100% confident against those ****s. First time.

Slot does seem to remove the emotional aspect very well.

Full on dogs of war from them. Fully expect a crap ton of OTT fouling all game long.

You wonder if Slot's Liverpool will get better treatment from refs than Klopp's Liverpool. Are there any signs of it? Klopp riled officials and it would never have had a positive response from them

Mo got fouled at least 3 times yesterday that weren’t given so I’d say there’s no evidence of fair treatment yet

That's an interesting question. Can't say I've seen much difference either way to date, but it's early days and hopefully this will bend our way a little bit.

Though Slot has already picked up a yellow, so let's see how different his engagement style actually is!
