Nope. Maybe if he was picking the ball up on the halfway line and dribbling through the opposition before slotting the ball in every week then he could name his own price, but we need quality players throughout the squad to create openings that can be exploited, as Trent's introduction (and Szob's bit of quality) demonstrated. Too many people seem to forget that it's a team game, and will be a risky proposition to potentially hamstring ourselves financially at the cost of squad development.

I've tried to support Darwin as long as he's been with us, but he is not an elite club striker. He's often a passenger and I don't buy the chaos piece. Pretty sure this is his last season for us. A fit Jota and we win that game.
        Really?

Alisson makes mistakes, we haven't missed him whatsoever. We are top of the league, best defence, top of champs league and Kelleher has been pivotal. I get the feeling some people are waiting for that one mistake to pounce regardless of how well thead has played. Very harsh.

He worked non stop. That's why he stayed on. He does twice the work of gakpo.

We looked the better team by some way when the subs were made only for a moment of poor judgement & an insane finish to bring us back to earth.

Darwin on the other hand is what many have been saying since he signed, headless with zero technique. Not a top level striker.

Again, as usual, I take you disagreeing with me as confirmation that I’m more than likely correct.

Kelleher has been great so far, tonight he just look a bit uncomfortable, not sure what he was thinking with the 3rd that was a howler.

In general it was a sloppy performance we could and probably should have won, but to be honest it would have been an undeserved win.

Nunez was frustrating, his general play is fine, but his finishing was really poor, he wasted some good chances though lack of composure, also the referee was absolutely ****e.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

True, but it was two points won only a few minutes before. Frustrating game, really.

Wouldn't put it past them, coots has virtually admitted it, no doubt its going on now.

Why are you bashing a player when we are top of the league by 7 points. He's contributed just like others have.

He's not a passenger at all. He gives everything and never hides. He's not a killer in front of goal though.
