Id go our strongest team for this and get qualification sewn up early - being able to rest/rotate for those last two games could be massive.

Agree. Have some stars on the bench in case but surely a few midfielders rested.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Id have Diaz central, I’m enjoying him playing upfront through the middle, he seems to be enjoying it and growing into the role.

I think Slot will go strong, get the game wrapped up and then make changes.

The fact we had the weekend off meant the whole team had a rotation

I’m more worried about having a few fresh for Fulham on the weekend tbh. With 3-4 replacements we should still be strong enough for at least a draw.

Fair enough, I don’t think that’s how Slot sees it though - I just listened to the press conference he was talking about the importance of finishing in the top 8 and how the cancelled game meant he didn’t need to rotate.

Interesting that he talked about rhythm as well - that the team has been playing well with a game every 3 days so no need for rotation after the weekend, and implying (I think) that a 10 day gap between Newcastle last Wed and Fulham this Sat would be too much

He even joked about having some practice games if they finish in the top 8 and don't have to play the two qualifying games (!)

I hope he knows what he’s doing if he plays basically the same X1 again & again.

BBC Sport visits Girona to find out how the Catalan club went from playing in the lower divisions to becoming part of the City Football Group and reaching the Champions League.

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
