Fulham at home Saturday 14th Dec 3pm

Matches coming thick & fast at present & Fulham have had a few good results recently so it won’t be an easy one.

Stick with Ali or recall Kelleher?

No defenders back so the only change that could be made is Quansah .

In midfield there’s no MacAllister due to suspension, Endo doesn’t seem to be in Slots plans so most likely it’s only Szobo, Gravenberch, Jones or Elliot to chose from.

Up front I’d expect to see Mo, Diaz & Gakpo start with Chiesa & Nunez on the bench.

    Have I missed anyone?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

It will be Ali No1 when fit.

Who, other than possibly Kweeve's dad (and even then), thinks that this is even a question?

Did you see Ali tonight? No harm to Kelleher, but this isn't something that requires even a nanosecond of consideration

We need to be careful & not overload him when returning from a bad hammy injury or it could flare up again. That’s the question for the medical team I suppose

I think, SB, you might be Kelleher's dad

It's 4 days to the game, I think he might name a mostly unchanged team, with the possibility of starting Elliott to help unlock Fulham's low block, and possibly Jota off the bench at 60 mins

Fulham will probably do what they did against Arsenal where, for all the praise they got for the draw, didn't really create much at all, with only 0.1 xG.

So we will need to be patient and find a way to be more like earlier in the season defending against breaks vs wide open like we were at times against Girona

Same as last night but Gakpo instead of Nunez.

              hopefully Jota on bench

You mark my words But I do appreciate the father reference & not the grandfather dig that others may have used.

I think his father passed away when Caoimhim was about 15

Pretty sure these will come with a low block and look to play on the break.

They could be very difficult to break down.

Prediction - frustrating first half, followed by Slot figuring it out at half time to rescue the point(s).
                      Oh I don't know.

I'd go with the same starting lineup as last night with the exception of Gakpo for Nunez

Yeah his father passed whilst Caoimhin was still in secondary school.

Decent side Fulham, we will definitely concede a few chances against them. Last night was more of a slog (well in the first half anyways) than I expected & I do think it was a missed opportunity to play Endo and rest Grav.
