Spurs complaining they’ve got a day less than us due to playing CC match vs United tonight. and they’ll need to go strong tonight as that’s their best chance of a trophy.

Great that most of the predicted starting X1 got the night off. TAA & Joe played 1/2 a match & Macca & Cody 63 mins.

Good to have Harvey on the bench after he played the full match tonight.

Jota got a 1/2 hour under his belt & Chiesa needs minutes off the bench over the busy period.

Romero, Van der Ven and Bentancur are out for them. If we can control the middle then we’ll be ok, if it gets to a transitional basketball game then they have dangerous fast players ahead of Maddison - Son, Kulisevski, Johnson, Solanke and Werner.

They are full of goals but open at the back. Robbo hopefully will be rested and laser focussed because Kulisevski is a handful. It’s mad but this feels like a big game as we’ve drawn two on the bounce. A win here would be huge

I’m back home in Sydney for Xmas and have forgotten how annoying the match times are here! 3.30am Monday morning for the Spurs game, I think. Sigh

No way i could get up at 3:30 am to watch footy for 2 hours 30-40 times a season. It’s not sustainable. Surely just record it and watch back when you get up and avoid social media.
