Leicester at home Boxing Day 8pm

Thursday 8pm KO against a team that’s struggling so here’s hoping we show them no good cheers & give them a spanking.

No fresh injuries or suspensions that I’m aware of so probably the same starting X1 if everyone’s ready to go. Does Timmy, Curtis or Harvey get minutes here?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Would give starts to Tsimi, Jones and one of Nunez or Jota. Just to give three that started yesterday a break before the away game to West Ham.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

We beat Leicester 4-0 on Boxing Day during the 19/20 prem winning season. We absolutely took them apart in that game and was probably when it be pretty apparent that it was going to be our year.

Yep, and amazing to think that was a top of the table clash with our closest challengers with them in 2nd place. Albeit with a 10 point gap before play.

This is the type of game that worries me more...on paper a sure fire win, but that mindset sometimes seems to affect the players too, and the intensity drops a little, which is all it takes to drop a bollock, a'la Forest at home. Rotate one or 2 players maybe, but need to go strong and not slip up.

Chelsea play Fulham.at 3pm on Boxing Day.

I can see Chelsea dropping points in that game. We could go into the Leicester game knowing that a.win puts us 6 or 7 clear with a game in hand of 2nd.

I don't expect it. I thought Fulham were very average against both us and arsenal but managed to get two points fortuitously.

Play as strong as possible and hope to get the game done early so you can rest then. Don’t want to go too weak and have to bring players on to try and fix any possible slip up. Most of the players have just had a nice week off without playing in the cup and didn’t have to work that hard yesterday.

Local derby though. I expect they will be well up for it.

Tranmere off today, presumably also because of the fog

No public transport today and an 8pm kickoff.
