Yes, but it's the way we have played in each which I am concerned about.
      Really?

I have a feeling we're going to implode. I think the players are knackered. We need a signing to lift things. I'm not bothered by the result, I just don't understand playing our first team. It's crazy. Did slot and his team not see what happened last year?

We were pretty **** in fairness, they weren't good either they just out worked us. Passing and first touch of most of the lads was desperate, whole team just way off. Jota and Salah and Jones and Grav etc turn up we win...... but they didn't. Result doesn't bother me but two poor back to back displays is a concern.

We've found our fatigue level. Passes have been woeful all night. But a huge plus is Endo, Tsimi, Bradley, Jota and Konate (as **** as they were) have got important minutes in their legs. I'm OK to get knocked out of this competition even if it means we're potentially one game from winning it. Feck the refs and feck this competition.
              One tit for another.

We don’t need to beat them well, any win would be great. What we need is no first team player ( that Slot trusts) near the game this weekend. We need Szozbo back and we need to buy a couple of players - CB and DM. Grav has been great but he’s on fumes and massively over played, trailed way behind Bergval for the goal.

I’d say if we don’t sign players then things could fall apart with more injuries

Spurs deserved the win in the end. Tbf that first yellow wasn’t a yellow, only have ourselves to blame, not clinical enough in the final third tonight. Beware spurs, second legs at Anfield ain’t easy.

Oh and the ball, blame the ball, different ball!

Beating them well would make me feel better but yes, any win is important.

That first yellow was a clear yellow. Bergvall had no reason to go diving into Diaz, touch or not. Denied a clear run towards goal.

Regardless, once he got that yellow the second yellow was clear cut, advantage played or not.

He should have had red, he didn't. **** happens. We didn't deserve to win nor likely to draw, so it doesn't matter how.

I'm more worried about our players than tonight's result. Or winning this competition.
