Does he trust Endo to start on a game like that? Macca seemed off the pace today as well.

That's three games in a row where we haven't controlled the midfield.

It's a bit of a worry tbh. We need to go at Villa on Wednesday.
        Oh I don't know.

Mac looked out on his feet. In down the left, his attempted left foot crosses looked like the ball was was made of solid lead.

Yeah him and Grav in particular look exhausted.

As much as we're pissed with our recent performances it's got to be hurting Arsenal that they've gained no ground. Though we have Villa and City, Arsenal also have to negotiate an away day at defensive Forest. West Ham might give them trouble too being a London derby.

The 2nd placed team is 7 points behind with 13 to play, has no recognised fit striker - and likely won't have before season end - and yesterday took 80 minutes to score against a relegation certainty. And has to come to Anfield. Come on guys, chins up. We got 3 points. We just didn't dominate. Not the end of the world.

Arsenal have basically gained two points on us in the past week. And West Ham ain't troubling anyone. They are dismal.

It was never a 9 point lead. That game in hand was always considered a draw at best and so it proved. I maintain Arsenal gained nothing so far.

A massive plus has to be the fact that Arsenal are fast approaching the point where they will need to win every single game they have left in order to have a chance of over taking us.

They have pretty much no wiggle room left at this point.

Imo we probably need about 25 or 26 points from the next 39 available points as there are as many tough games on Arsenal's horizon as there will be on our own.

They aren't going on a city run, and we've a bit of wiggle room anyway.

It was a grim performance but I've been very impressed with Wolves this season. I don't know what the stats say but they shouldn't be one above the relegation zone, they are much, much better than that.

And yet they end the week being further behind us than they started the week.

Nah. It's two points lost whichever way you cut it.

Nah we gained one on them, almost three. It was our game in hand, we never had the 9 point lead. It was a 6 point lead last week with a game in hand it is now a seven point lead.
