Newcastle at home Wednesday 26th Feb 815pm

That was a good home win for them scoring 4 goals so we’ll need to be at our best. Arsenal play Forrest away so they realistically could drop points again.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

A few players emptied the tanks today.

Can see Gakpo and maybe Jota coming in. Would Slot trust Endo to start? Probably not but it’s ANOTHER big game. We then only have one league game in March so signing off Feb with another 3 points would be monumental. Newcastle need points also so going to be also be a tough match. The fact City and Bournemouth blew them away will be worth looking into.
    Modifying post.

This is another big game, we need to show that we aren't complacent after the big win today, sometimes teams take their eye off the ball after a result like that, a win here against another team challenging for the top 4 would be something of a statement. With Arsenal also having a tough game a win for us means the gap at least stays in double figures for the international break
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think we will probably see some changes where we can afford to make them, hopefully Gakpo can come back in and we can at least go with 3 forwards and rest one of the midfielders (rather than playing our first choice 4 as we have for the last couple of games). Probably could give Robertson a rest too, but not sure we'd make many other changes to be honest.

Got to refresh where we can, so starts for Tsimikas, Jota and Gakpo (if he is fit enough) and a rest initially for Szobo

Salah going for all sorts of records so will start. We have a week's break after this so back 5 will probably be unchanged barring Timmy.

Would really love to see Endo start a PL game.

One more big effort from everyone before they get a nice break.

Gakpo should start and it helps he didn’t have to do much today and wasn’t really needed. He’ll be big in this game. Jota, Gakpo and Salah would probably all start. That midfield will need some help so two fresh in attack will help.

I’d have the usual midfield three with Jones off the bench. Back four maybe only a change at LB. Pretty much go again then get a good break. It’s a shame Diaz has lost that early season form.

Going out of the FA Cup right now looks even better especially the thought of going back and playing City again.

Just watched Newcastle, they are Jekyll and Hyde. But definitely there for the taking.

We really need to make sure that the players are in the right mind frame for this, big win at the weekend and alot of people saying the league is won, we need to make sure that that we have the right attitude and get the points, we can't let complacency set in

Think Jota & Gakpo will definitely start, Endo should start but won't. Diaz form has fallen off a cliff & Jones is so hit and miss. Imo they will be the ones that drop out. Resting Robbo might be a shout too.

We have a week off after this right? Or 6 days at least

So enough of a break to not have to rest anyone who can do 60/75 mins at least

Thought this was going to be the first season in a long time I don't make it over for a single game.

Claire stepped up though and got me hospitality tickets for this one as a Christmas present.

All in, it's costing more than one of our holidays abroad, but it will be worth it to see Slot's champions live.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Oh boy are you going to pay for that. I can sense a new car , an eternity ring or some other outrageously expensive gift coming up.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.
