    Preseason 2025

Let’s have all info regarding our 2025 Preseason here. So far I know of these 2 in Asia. There’s talk we are coming to Australia but not confirmed as far as I can see. I’ll update this when the Club confirm more matches.

Jul 26 vs. AC Milan Time TBA Kai Tak Stadium, Hong Kong

Jul 30 vs. Yokohama F. Marinos Time TBA Nissan Stadium, Yokohama, Japan

Arne Slot has revealed when Liverpool will report back to the AXA Training Centre for pre-season, as he aims to ensure his champions are “serial winners.”
Liverpool will officially begin pre-season on July 8, six weeks after their post-season break officially begins

“I think we have a lot [of potential] to compete next season again,” he told reporters at his pre-match press conference.

“But what I don’t know yet, and that’s going to be the interesting one, is if we have this elite mentality, this serial winner mentality, of showing up season after season after season.

“I think I’ll get the answer already on July 8, when we come back together, seeing what shape the players are in.

“Many teams have won the Premier League once, but not many have won it multiple seasons in a row and that’s for a reason.

“First of all, because it’s so difficult; second of all, not every player has this elite mentality.

“When I talk about Mo, it’s not a coincidence that he’s for seven years already on a certain level, and last pre-season he was the one who was the fittest when we arrived back after the break.

“So that is a mentality you need to have to have a chance of becoming a serial winner.

“This is something we have to prove, the players have to prove and me as well, during the off-season.

“The first day for me to judge if we have a chance to become serial winners is July 8 when I see them back.”

Nice, throwing down the guantlet to his players and staff to show an elite mentality.

I think we're in good hands here.

Liverpool to face Preston North End in first pre-season game.

Liverpool will begin their 2025-26 pre-season schedule against Preston North End at Deepdale on Sunday July 13, kick-off 3pm BST.

Arne Slot’s side will face the Championship team ahead of the club’s pre-season tour of Asia, where they are scheduled to play AC Milan in Hong Kong, China on July 26 and J1 League club Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan on July 30.

The Reds met Preston in a behind-closed-doors match at the AXA Training Centre during last season’s pre-season programme.

The Premier League champions will return for duty in the week beginning July 7 to start preparations for the next campaign.

Season ticket holders and All Red members can purchase tickets for the Preston game from 10am on Monday June 16, with the general sale taking place from 10am on Tuesday June 17.

Don't we play Man Utd at least twice a year?

Well we won’t be seeing Bajetic in PS according to this article. That’s a real blow for the kid & im surprised we’ve not heard about the operation until now.

Liverpool's Stefan Bajcetic is in a race against time to be fit for pre-season after surgery on a hamstring injury. The midfielder underwent the procedure last month after sustaining the injury during his loan spell at Las Palmas.

Bajcetic, who picked up the injury shortly after half-time in a match against Sevilla on May 15, has already begun his recovery process, according to the Liverpool Echo. Now, the 20-year-old faces a challenge to return in time for pre-season, where he would hope to get a chance to play under Arne Slot.

That's him knackered. As soon as you start getting regular injuries at a young age, you're constantly playing catch-up, and other young players who are more reliable start overtaking you. Then, it's game over before you know it by the time you reach 25.

It's looking that way for him.

Yeah it's not looking great for the young lad. Some players just have such bad luck.

On the other hand if he isn’t fit by the end of the transfer window he doesn’t get sold or loaned out and Arne gets a good look at him once he is fit. If he gets sold or loaned in January then hopefully for his sake he can build a decent career elsewhere.

Yeah I do fear for his future with us now. Like Catrin said if he’s not fit by the end of the tranny window he’ll need a personalised PS to get him going so it could buy him some time.

Gerrard had regular injuries. I wouldnt write him off just yet.
