I mentioned to someone recently that I thought Robbo might move in to the middle. We have Grav too but need a young CB as it's easy to forget VVD is getting on a bit

Yeah really need a solid CB option for when the injuries inevitably happen. Do not want to be left wanting there during the season. I do think we'll address it.

Not able to watch the game but have seen the goals. Nice little knock down from Rio to set up Nunez. Great awareness of what’s around him and lovely hit for the first.

He's doing well enough, not really being tested by this Bilbao side. For 20 minutes passed the ball around thinking he was still a midfielder and gave away dangerous situations. But solid enough otherwise, good practice for discipline at key moments.

Stephenson with a horrendous header back across the box under little pressure gives Bilbao their only, undeserved, goal. Bradley needs to stop getting these annoying injuries.

Edit: and Stephenson goes down with an injury a few seconds before the final whistle.
