I wonder what happens with Jaros and McConnell now Heitinga has been sacked.

Jaros seems to be getting a decent number of games, and I doubt they'll want to change their goalkeeping lineup mid season, but I don't think McConnell making much of an impact. But they have a loan agreement so I expect that will be honoured.

It feels a bit similar to Bajcetic last season. You can understand loaning players in those situation though.

It looks like Jaros started as no.1 but has been dropped and wasn’t performing that well.

Are any of our players we’ve loaned out actually playing? I expect Harvey & possibly Tsimikas & or McConnell to return at Xmas as they won’t be getting playing time where they are.

It depends what the plan is. If Slot is still around they’ll probably just go on loan again.

If a new guy is in charge soon I’d bring as many back as possible and let him see what they can do. Right now someone like Stephenson who can cover RB,CB and midfield would be handy. He played a lot in preseason and did well.

Given the Elliott deal is loan to buy I doubt there would be a recall option. I don't see where Tsimikas gets games here given he only plays LB and we already have 2. McConnell maybe depending on the terms of the deal.

James McConnell is expected to return to Liverpool in January, after Ajax sacked the Reds’ former assistant coach John Heitinga.

The 21-year old midfielder joined the Dutch club on loan in the summer, but is currently out of favour with new head coach Fred Grim.
