Think some of the wingers we are being linked with are either at the level of Diaz or just below it, but all are much younger and with the potential to be far better and some off them may end up being closer to a Mane level player. Imo.


Think the wingers we are being linked with would suit Wirtz better tha Diaz though as many of them are great at linking for one- twos and quick little passes in tight quarters as well as being able to just burn down the flank and dibble.

You would not even need players at the level of prime Mane or Salah.

Just fast decent quality wingers and he would have a field day, same as if we had runners from midfield heading towards the other teams 18 yard box on a regular basis.

Your Ekitike example is spot on. Give Wirtz two or three more players as willing and able to link with him and he would be changing angles and passages of play all game long as he would have the options to do so.

Now he has Ekitike only on a regular basis to do that with and occasionally another player when one steps up to do so during a game.

It will be interesting to see how he links up with Isak when he’s fit and playing again. Especially when the team is functioning better.

Fernandes has been outstanding this season. Horrible cunt but United fans love him, gives everything, desire to win at all costs, work rate ridiculous and output is incredible. He's their Suarez.

Wirtz needs to be feeding movement and finishers. We have looked between average and poor on those fronts so what Wirtz does best is badly hampered.

Think when we become a more cohesive unit you will see exactly why we bought him.

Yeah I'm trying hard not to judge as the team balance is way off and we have several areas to still address.
