I thought he did relatively well last night.
His levels seemed to be reflective of our levels as a team and perhaps that is no coincidence. For periods against Atleti we looked unstoppable, a real joy to watch and definitely played our best football of the season so far. At other times we looked disjointed, like the players weren't quite sure about the setup, especially out of possession.
Individually and collectively we seem to be moving in the right direction as far as footballing performances go. The fact that we have managed to get the results while the performances have been developing is hugely positive for us. Let's hope we start getting both together sooner rather than later - preferably against Everton on Saturday!
