Not the game to judge him on, was like playing crazy gang era Wimbledon with 50k fans.

I noticed he made a lot of useful runs first half but wasn’t getting the ball, then nobody was getting the ball when Newcastle took to the skies.

Formation doesn’t look quite right yet.

TBF that wasn't much of a football match yesterday, could hardly get a more difficult match as your first away match in England. But agree, it's going to take some time, not too worried yet though.

Looks like it's going to take him awhile to get into the flow of things. He just won't have the time on the ball he had in the Bundas and our fixture list at the start of the season has been and is very unforgiving. Classy player with so much talent but really struggled in the opening games, looking lightweight and slow. He is one that could really do with a goal.

There isn't one. Not a chance that his performance was in any way related.

Coincidentally he got the lowest score for a player who wasn't sent off in a match, which may be subjective, i dunno. But i do know the attack on the right side was very poor yesterday.
Salah spent most of last season doing very little. Still managed to rack up a record number of goals and assists in between.

We have to accept he cant run or beat players, but given space he can still find the net or put in a perfect ball, but he needs service. I think it might take a while to gel with Frompong. Salah was on specific orders not to track back last year. With both right sided players ultra attacking, I think it will take time to find the right balance there. Think tat depends a lot on Grav being on the pitch though.

Perhaps. But his record in finals/Wembley is surprisingly poor.
