I don’t think we can underestimate how much emotional energy the lads are using up with the sadness and energy around Jota. Easy to forget they will all still be grieving and this is the first home match since they all won the league together.

All the new players barring Ekitike are understandably still getting used to proper English football. Today was a good lesson for Kerkez, Frimpong and Wirtz. And the lesson cost us nothing.

I was more pissed of at Endo, Jones and Szob. Why the feck did one of them not hold back in case there was a break? Which there was and Semenyo had a free run through the middle.
