Yeah, I'd agree with that, stop horsing around with Dom and buy a right back, a top number 6 and two wingers, I'd be ok with keeping Kostas another year as back up if we don't have the funds. We'll probably keep relying on Bradley and Frimpong though.

If Alisson goes we might need a backup keeper too and give Mama a year to prove himself.

Gravenberch was epic last year, absolutely perfect as a progressive defensive midfielder

For me we need a 6 and two wingers, I don't see both MacAllister and Jones leaving but I think one will.

In terms of a side going forward we went big on Wirtz and Isak last year, have signed Gravenberch to a long term contract and are looking at getting Konate signed up I think that is going to be the spine of the team going forward. 2 wingers give us a complete forward line, with Wirtz behind and then two solid midfielders, in Gravenberch and a proper #6. Backline starts as Konate znd VVD but with Leoni or Jacquet being brought through, Kerkez at LB and Frimpong/Bradley at RB. Allison will stick around another year

All these necessary changes and they are necessary changes is exactly why I thought we would go full tilt for a winger and CB in Jan, as they would not only benefit us in the present but also two less players to bed in when we have to make 500 changes in the summer window. We should also be careful other players don't want to leave if we don't get Champs League football.

Yeah, think Slot might have him in mind when talking about the need to sell. Truth is, we don't that many sellable assets, Ali and MacAllister really. Maybe Dominik if he wants to leave, he'll need to sign a contract or be sold. Endo and Chiesa will fetch very little, same with Jones.

The latest noises say that Konate is staying, but even with him included, when you lay it out like that, we have a lot of work to do (to put it mildly)

Depends who’s in charge.

Jones won’t leave if Slot is gone. Konate looks like he’s about to sign a new deal. And I don’t think Ali goes yet. The club don’t mind letting players leave on a free in that situation so keep him for one more year. Kostas will be back, he was happy to be a squad player and did a job when needed.

The others will likely go. But a new manager also means some of the younger players might get more opportunities which will be good. Morrison is another young player like Rio, fast wide player who can score and create, and should be getting some minutes. Nyoni definitely needs more game time and has always looked capable when given a chance that’s more than a few minutes. I’m sure there are a few others more than capable of doing a job as squad players at times.

Could Elliot come back and offer something as a squad player again.

One thing is for sure the next manager needs to be able to trust and use the full squad and young players when needed. It’s ridiculous to have a squad and not use a bunch of players who have shown they are good enough to do a job when needed.

Might sound daft, but I do think we have missed Endo this season, comes on in the last 15 minutes and shores up the backline, no coincidence we have been losing goals in the last few minutes of games.

He wasn't being played, another one Slot completely doesn't trust. Rather unfairly i might add.
