Someone who I genuinely think could help us as a team and unlock teams is Morgan Rodgers at Villa.

He's such a good footballer. Can link up play, can drive and glide past players and he's strong too plus he can finish. Both footed as well which bar Wirtz we really lack.

He'd be a great buy if we could get him.

Anyone who wouldn't take 4th today is nuts.

It seems nuts that we can barely score more than 1 goal a game - we have only scored more than once in 4 out of the last 12 PL games (and we have won 3 of those 4)

Can you expect a cohesive attack though when the midfield and back line are slow in releasing balls to that attack, slow in joining the attack and generally letting the attack exist as a separate unit to the rest of the team?

Imo the strengths and weaknesses of our attackers are being ignored in the case of the former and enhanced in the case of the latter by our slow play.

And that is without even looking at the over playing of some players in that attack and the under use of others.

Yes very much so, we look tentative and forced at the moment, which is OK for a few games but we need to get into a settled system and consistency of selection soon to be able to get 4th

    Definitely.

We play with fear and don't score more goals than we concede which never gets top 4.

That pretty much describes the Red Mancs, Blue Mancs, Newcastle, Forest, Everton and about six or seven other teams in the division to be fair.

The more teams like City and Chelsea win, the more the media tries to legitimize them and ignore the financial doping.

Arsenal win the title, then like it or not they will do so on merit. City/Chelsea win it, then as much as the players on the pitch did the playing, the behind the scenes money fiddling stuff over years and years is what build the foundation all their wins are built upon.

I get people might argue that title wins by the dopers are worthless because of how they got to where they are, but for me their league wins devalue the totle a bit ever time they win one.

Hence me preferring a proper team winning the title and giving the title some of it's old value.

You can dislike a proper team but still respect them winning a title, I just cannot do the same with the financial dopers.
