I have no idea what our strongest 11 looks like at the moment, but a deadly finisher is always welcome.

Yeah, we should be able to cope with their departures now. Hope Isak gets some gametime for Sweden this window, been looking at other 9's and the only ones who can really compare with him are the proper elites, Lewandowski, Haaland and Benzema.
Hope he shakes the rust off soon.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Not aimed at you but this is where we need to be. It's very much a squad game and i use the spurs final line up as that was on paper our first team line up and we only saw it once.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostI have no idea what our strongest 11 looks like at the moment, but a deadly finisher is always welcome.
I still don't think the balance of the team is quite right and we've now another starter to wedge in somewhere but Gravenberch and Mac Allister definitely help give us a platform and some time for the players to adapt to their demands.
I'm also interested to see how we fare with Frimpong on the RW in the AC.

I watched that last night. It made me see Isak in a slightly different light and I now can't wait to see him fully up to speed and playing for us. The real eye opener was when he showed how another team (think it was Arsenal) basically lost their shape when he received the ball as they were so concerned about what he would do next. They essentially shat the bed in a way that teams only do when they know they are up against a top player. It's the kind of thing that doesn't easily come across over the TV but you get a better sense of in the ground (I've never watched Isak in person).
I really like Adam Clearey BTW, his videos are great IMHO.It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

Good analysis, I like the way he presents.Originally posted by rudedog View Post
Particularly interesting how isak will drop deeper to draw defenders and then make room for the wide players who he can pass to, then move forward to receive the return pass.
The one thing to note is that the pass to the wide player on the right means the return pass needs to be played with the right foot... not ideal for salah who ALWAYS wants to cut back.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

That video has got me even more excited to get him in the team.
Players like Gakpo, Alexis, Ekitike and Dom might really benefit. All the focus on Isak, Wirtz and Salah some of those others players are going to get a lot more time and space to cause so damage.
If you’re the opposition who do you focus on.
