Definitely playing better. Still vulnerable at the back in exactly the same way, but we've put our chances away (except Bradley's header) so it's not really a problem at the moment. There's still a lack of creativity in midfield, Jones and Szobo are not finding feet through the middle, and Wirtz is drifting in and out. We need to buy a LM replacement for diaz in January. Gutted about Frimpong, he's my fave.

Goals change games - we don't look significantly better or worse than previous games, but putting the ball in the net multiple times completely changes the complexion of the game, and the mood of fans.

Well, hold on. We've looked better in attack but without 2 set pieces this would be 1-1 and we'd have only scored because they committed too many players forward and Ekitike has composure. I mean yes, ifs and buts, but I wouldn't say we've looked "much much" better. Maybe much better, or just better, but I think 2 "much"s is just much too much.

They are the worst defence is the league but 2nd best attack in their league. The got a goal out of nothing, we've been all over them in fairness even if we are still fragile defensively.

This is more like it. Apart from the sloppy defending for their goal, the shape of the team is much much better, definitely something to work from here.

The spacing between the defence midfield and attack looks much better.

Defence is a bit loose at times but importantly the pressing is back and working well. They are winning the ball back high up the pitch or forcing them to play it long to no one so the pressure and possession is maintained.

Ekitike and Wirtz showing that link up play again. The balance in attack looks much better and I like the freedom Wirtz is having from the right with the RB playing their naturally game be it Frimpong before and now Bradley.

I mean I know I'm messing around a bit, and it is nice to score from corners and finally have a two goal lead, but we haven't really created much otherwise. And we do still look frail at the back.

I think Wirtz is getting the ball alot while facing away from goal from what i’ve seen so far. Can carry the ball well so needs the ball facing the play.

I’ve deffo noticed past few games our passing is either short or too long to intended person which puts them in less favourable position than they should be and then get closed down. Also lots of the scrappy play when we are like 3 vs 1 and they still come away with the ball lol

6 shots, 6 shots on target and 7 corners. Imo we've looked very dangerous albeit vs a really poor defence but still. See how we go in 2 nd half.
