Well in Fed, gave Salah a taste of his own medicine. The way Salah turned away in disgust when the ball rolled to the keeper was hilarious.

Salah has been a wonderful player for us, but I wonder if his ego can keep up with how quickly he will fall out of the first team now. Needs to be managed quite well I suspect.

Great performance from everyone apart from Salah lol. Should have squared that one earlier to Wirtz, he's such a greedy prick but I can understand why he wants a goal so much. Definitely would start with this same team or something similar against Brentford. Shame about the injuries we've picked up. Much better all round performance from everyone, Curtis Jones unplayable.

The pressing is what set it all up, kept them pinned back in their own half and never got a chance. Defensively the second half was solid and the game was completely controlled.

I hope they stick with that system for a bit and see how it goes. Wirtz defending wide and having the freedom to drift with the ball definitely worked. Stick with it for the weekend and as much as I’d like Gravenberch back in Dom and Jones especially did their jobs perfectly.

Keep the two up top with Isak, Ekitike and Chiesa as the three to rotate.
