Man City away Sunday 9th Nov 430pm

They’ve got Dortmund at home tonight so a day less to prepare for us but no traveling. I hope Dortmund kick lumps out of them.

Not sure if that late injury to Kerkez is a concern as I doubt we play Robbo 3 times in a week.

Our midfield 3 of Macca, Dom & Grav will be important here & no surprises if Wirtz keeps his place wide left.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

They'll have an awkward game tonight against Dortmund.... hopefully. Not the greatest side in the world but neither are Man City these days... they just have a Haaland who is literally dragging them along.

What late injury to Kerkez? The foul that wasn't given? I assumed we were timewasting

Same team again. There is no reason they can’t back it up. Tuesday night at home and a late Sunday kickoff without a lot of travel. Every one of them deserves to play again after last night. More of that intensity and discipline.

If we play to our potential then we should win imo.

Watch the dog**** refereeing performance though in the prem.

Hopefully Isak will be on the bench

Yeah that’s the one, he looked to be in some pain but I hope you’re right

Is Rodri out injured again or being rested tonight?

75 mins gone & he’s made no subs despite leading 3-1

TransferMarkt list him as not in the squad, so maybe rested or still not fit after his last injury?

Pep must have read your post he made 3 subs on 79 mins.
We are here for a good time not a long time....

Haaland is in unbelievable form and foden is looking very good as well at the moment. I think Doku is one of those players that can either kill you or have little impact - there seems to be no in-between.

Defensively I think they are there to be got at though.

I'd like to see the same starting line up as against Madrid. And press them hard

He is the City player that worries me the least. For whatever reason VVD usually has him in his pocket most times we play them.

Problem is, despite the % of City's goals Haaland has gotten so far this season, they do have about six or seven players in their team that can nick a goal or two when needed.

Foden, Stones, Gvardiol etc etc are the ones that I see as the greater threat against us.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Based on recent history, I agree. However, when we played them both times last year we were settled and on a long unbeaten run, with everyone knowing what they were doing and what their role was. And even then it took two excellent team performances to get the points

I worry about Haaland this Sunday not because he's more likely to beat VVD 1-1, but becuase the whole City team is now geared to getting him into space quickly, which wasn't the case as much last year

And I think there is going to be more space for him than historically against us, as we are resetting how we play, especially off the ball.

Yeah not worrying about the best CF in the world, that has banged in 27 goals already this season & is carrying the team... is asking for trouble.

As regards City, they are a good team, not a great team & we are more than capable of beating them but Haaland is a generational talent that we & every other team that he plays against should very much worry about.

I do have a bad feeling about this weekend. I think the result will prove to be beyond us at this time, I just hope we get a good performance from the team.
