Apparently the dashcam footage was supposed to be really.grim.......and after hitting loads of people, including a pram, he was just screaming "****in' move"

Have not seen the footage and to be honest I didn't read all of the reports, but he obviously had some serious wobble. How the **** he went all the way up dale street and down water street is beyond me. Some seriously stupid behavior there because there was no way he was going to get out of the crowd ffs......he was going towards strand where there were even more people.

It’s genuinely a miracle nobody was killed.

Apparantly his road rage stuff started a good bit further away according to his dash can footage. The footage showed a very prolonged rage event going on with him. So was in no way a spur of the moment flashpoint that lasted a couple minutes.

He also lied and tried to claim he stopped after the first person he hit. His own footage contradicting that of course. That was before his guilty plea.

If he had not been stopped from ploughing out of Water street and along the Strand, who knows how many more people he would have hurt or worse.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Well it is not his first offence. He had form for violence.

              Clean as a whistle afaik.

Man had a long track record of attacking people and of violent actions. In his civilian life and during his military career. One of his offences was the biting off of another person's ear.

And his discharge from the military did not sound like a particulary good one.

[emoji106] his road rage started long before he got into town, the dashcam shows him undertaking other cars, almost knocking someone over on a crossing and going through red lights.[emoji35][emoji35]

****in cunt deserves every type of misery visited upon him.

I feel sorry for his family though, three kids I think? What a Christmas they'll have.

Not trying to defend him in any way because he is ultimately the author of his own actions, but I'm sure he didn't set out that morning with the intent of hurting people.

Another man with unresolved anger issues, unfortunately. Not sure how prevalent it is elsewhere or in other generations, but that cohort does seem to have issues. Having grown up in Liverpool in his generation I can vouch for that being a problem. You'd think they'd have found ways to cope by their 50's but seemingly not.
                        Really?

Maybe not, but he has a long track history of days where he got up probably not intending to harm others but did.

A number of assaults, some in civilian life, some at work during his military career, the biting off of a person's ear, the list goes on in terms of violent incidents involving him.

Do not think it unreasonable to suggest that he is a man who has found it very easy to use violence as his go to response to things.

Yes his wife and children I would have sympathy for. Would extend that what an Xmas they'll have to what a life they are about to have.

A city can become a very small place for folk related to someone who has done something as horrific as he did and they will forever be known, for as long as they live in the area, as the family of the man that did what he did.

In many ways he has made them victims along with all those he caused injury and mental anguish to.

I feel sorry for his wife and kids in terms of the situation he has left them in but it could be that they finally feel safe. I’m no expert but it doesn’t make sense for someone to bite a guy’s ear off, be nice for thirty years then flip in such an extreme way.
