Spurs away Saturday 20th Dec at 530pm

First match with Mo at AFCON & normally we’d be dreading this period but not this time around. Gomez picking up another injury isn’t ideal but at least Bradley returns from suspension.

And Frimpong might be in contention.

What is this Frimpong you speak of?

I’d like to see him in a more advanced position off the bench for now with Mo being away.

          Let's smash these cockney cunts.....

Spurs are in really mixed form. Thomas Frank is a good coach though and is capable of setting up his team to cause us problems. As a Liverpool fan, I'd nearly rather play them at their place right now......if we can score first, then I expect their fans to turn on the team. Both managers will welcome a free mid week at this stage of the season.

Hopefully the week off will make a big difference to us. Our key players will all hopefully benefit from this for varying reasons.

It would be a good game for Isak to properly announce his arrival with a few goals.

Forest made them look ordinary on Sunday. Here’s hoping we can do the same

              Dom in doubt possibly

Dominik Szoboszlai has been one yellow card away from having to serve a suspension since #LFC's loss to #MCFC at the start of last month.

He's now poised to sidestep an FA ban but it's bittersweet for Arne Slot after the Reds' latest injury blow.

Forced off with an ankle injury against Brighton, an enforced absence could take the Hungarian past the Premier League's amnesty at the end of 2025. But at what cost, with any lay-off potentially lasting longer than just the would-be one-game ban.

This will be do or die for Frank:

                Becker
                Bradley - Konate - Virg - Robertson
                Grav - Jones
                Wirtz
                Chiesa - Isak - Ekitike

Could see a diamond of sorts again though with Mac in for Chiesa. More likely I guess.
                * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I think it will be a diamond. I would be shocked if Isak and Chiesa were to both start. Midfield is more likely to be:

                  Grav
                  Macca Jones
                  Wirtz or Szlob
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

I can't get my head around Chiesa not getting a start.
Is it because he isn't Dutch?

It's like watching Paddy Berger under Roy Evans until Houllier came along & he knew how to use that fantastic player!
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

                          Agree, that baffled me also.

Frimpong in the squad for tomorrow and Szoboszlai training so could be fit depending on how he feels afterwards.

A good win here and we can start to look upwards imo.
