Wolves at home Saturday 27th Dec at 3pm

Not sure who will be available for this. Isak definitely looks in doubt & not sure about Bradley either. Looks like Chiesa or Ngumoah might get a run. I liked the look of Frimpong giving us much needed speed up front.

Ali, Frimpong, Konate, VVD, Robertson, Gravenberch, Jones, Mac Allister, Chiesa, Ekitike, Wirtz.

If Wirtz isn’t ok to start could we see Kerkez and Robertson both play as I doubt he starts Rio. Surely Chiesa will get to start this one.

He could play Ramsay at RB and Frimpong in attack but I doubt Ramsay gets a start.

There isn’t really a lot to choose from for this one.

I thought about starting Ramsay too considering it is Wolves but I doubt Slot would be up for it.

Chiesa…. A run down the touchline for 86 minutes?!

For 86 mins or coming on after 86 mins? I know what Slot prefers

Feels like that is the team out of necessity, bench is going to be made up of kids though... only senior outfield players I can think of that wouldn't be starting are one of Robertson/Kerkez, and Endo, unless you count Rio and Nyoni (which I don't)

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Lucky we have a week between games at the moment, which feels really unusual in Xmas week

                        The latter, obviously!

Our bench will include Rio, Nyoni, Lucky & Tommy Pilling ( apparently) . And probably Ramsay also.

After spending £400m, that is shocking, yep I know injuries don't help, but it doesn't half feel like the Isak one was a step to far
I make no apologies, this is me

We came into the season with too small a squad, I think quite a few of us were saying it. We have a 26 man squad which includes the likes of Nyoni, Rio, Bajcetic, Leoni and Ramsay all of whom have limited experience and a couple of whom are fairly injury prone. That takes you to about 20 senior players which is the size of your match day squad.

Then factor in that Endo and Chiesa are players the manager won't start unless he is desperate, Woodman who is 3rd choice GK. It means more or less every game you end up with at least a couple of those listed above on the bench, which is fine but anything more that a couple of injuries really pushes the bench options.
