I was reading a fair bit in the summer that suggested McConnell is highly rated in the club and was loaned with the expectation of getting more experience and coming back and being more involved, I guess the question is how much more involved.

The suggestion on Morton was that he was too slow and that although he is doing well in France there are doubts as to whether he could produce such form in the PL. Elliott I am really hoping comes back and gets a 2nd chance.
