Great to win again, but the mental issues remain.

      Job done.

      Poor second half.

Another important 3 points and a win but 2-0 up and comfortable then concede from a set piece and the fragility comes out again. I know the confidence isn’t great right now but what’s happened that they struggle under the slightest bit of pressure.

Into the top four in a very unconvincing manner.

Definitely need a short term fix defensively. Someone like a Klavan regen would suffice til the summer.

Without Bradley we would have easily lost that.
He's such a decent footballer, great defender and good going forward.

It's as if we don't know what to do if we get 2-0 up do we sit back do we try to push on, it feels like we do go more negative in that we offer nothing going forward, but we aren't good enough defensively to do that

We are really mentally weak and conceding a goal still mentally destroys us

Same issues again but we won and we are still there and there abouts the 4th place going into the January window. Considering how things were going, we'll absolutely take that and hope we can do some business in the window.

Doesn't seem to be much evidence of touchline management happening

Morgan Rodgers, get this lad signed he'll make all the difference to us.

There are suggestions that there may be a clause in his contract for this summer

Just behind the front line or bang in the middle. He can carry the ball well, he's strong too and got a decent shot on him as well.

There was a lot of talk that Elliott deal was favourable for Villa with Rogers coming the other way next summer. Since seeing Rogers form at the start of the season they've decided not to go ahead hence why he's not playing.

Given Elliot is better than some on Villas bench there may be some truth in it. They may just not want to pay 35m or whatever it is given their PSR issues.
