Leeds at home Thursday 1st January 530pm

Dom is back thankfully. And good to see Conor & Cody on the bench today so we are getting troops back. Hopefully no new injuries
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I wouldn't mind seeing Frimpong play right wing with Conor right back.

Hope Szoboslai comes in to replace Macallister.....he looks way off it.

100% agree. And the added benefit is if Bradley gets caught out of position you know Frimpong has the pace & desire to get back & help out defensively.

Yeah, Chiesa didn’t really take his opportunity today

Which is a shame but also understandable considering how few minutes he’s played all season. It’d be nice to see him get a few starts in a row to build up his sharpness etc but if Frimpong & Bradley are both fit they’ll start imo.

60 minutes is usually the amount of game time he gets in a month.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Agree on Bradley and Frimpong together down the right. Szoboszlai likes to work that side to so those three could offer plenty at both ends of the pitch if played together.

And the way Wirtz is going playing on the left and linking with Kerkez, Jones and Ekitike the attack is showing some good signs.

Wirtz looks the type of player that brings the best out of others.

Hopefully they can both stay fit

Didn’t realise that this will be our first of 9 matches in January. That’s a tough run & we’ll need the whole squad.

Gomez should be back for either Leeds or Fulham.

With Szoboszlai back it would be nice to have one of the midfielders on the bench, Mac Allister, to bring on late on for fresh legs.

It's weird that, with everyone fit, I don't think MacAllister gets into our best 11 despite him being one of our best players last year.

It's not weird in the slightest, he's been ****ing garbage the whole season.

I think him and Gakpo are outside the 11 currently.

Leeds United injury latest ahead of Liverpool as Joe Rodon gives Daniel Farke new headache
Latest Leeds United injury news and return dates ahead of Liverpool as Joe Rodon joins Daniel James and Sean Longstaff on the sidelines
Rodon has not missed any of the Whites' last 104 matches, therefore Daniel Farke faces the difficult prospect of naming a changed defence in the club's upcoming fixtures - which are coming thick and fast, and now in multiple competitions.

My starting X1 would be this with Chiesa getting at least 30 mins off the bench.

                              Ali

                              Bradley, Konate , Virg, Kerkez

                              Szoboszlai, Gravenberch , Jones

                              Frimpong, Ekitike , Wirtz
