Watching some replay clips last night, there was a clear penalty not given on wirtz, elbowed in the chest to push him off the ball. Cuntz.
Bradley will be a huge miss, his potential is massive, but
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Yeah that but is the problem, he is an injury magnet. And given his physical approach to the game, part of what makes him so good, his ease in getting injuries will probably be something that stays with him.

Injuries are at the point again where we defo need some January reinforcements in more than one area of the team. Would be hoping that we are maybe looking at trying to bring in a summer target or two early if the selling clubs were willing to do deals.

Looked a bad one too. Potential ACL.

The response from Martinelli was a disgrace, he judged Bradley by his own standards. The fact that they are diving *******s doesn’t mean everyone is.

I loved the response from the team and it was great to see big Ibou (who played well) leading the response.

Also think Dom is really maturing as a player - I’d give him captaincy next season even if Virgil stays on. We need to get that next leadership group set up and Dom ticks every box. His post match interview was class as were his pre match comments.
        Modifying post.

Some of our shooting was borderline comedy gold.
          Embarrassingly bad.

I thought Wirtz was supposed to be good on freekicks, but he doesn't really seem to get a look in with Dom on the pitch. Surely the closer ones, that require more up and down in a short space, are better suited to the Wirtz technique than they are Dom?

I think I should say that defensively that was Kerkez’s best game for us. I’ve been a bit of a hater and he’s been piss poor but he did well last night.

                But.

He’s absolute gash going forward - so far in a LFC shirt. Perhaps it’s the player in front that isn’t helping, Gakpo is way off it and Wirtz is an atypical left sided forward who flirts all over. Perhaps if Kerkez had had a Lucho ahead of him he’d have had a better start.

Gakpo was disappointing last night imo.....was a chance for him to do something imo and he didn't really.

I'd have liked to have seen Rio come on for him for 10 mins or so but I can understand why slot didn't change it as well.

Big pity about our injury problems as we'd have surely taken them if we had one or two more options. Also a pity Frimpong couldn't square the ball properly to Wirtz that time.

Referee was a prick. VAR should have properly looked at Frimpong ankle foul and were too quick to dismiss that. Also, the troasard body check on Wirtz is a foul. That is 100% a free kick anywhere on the pitch but the officials bottled it. Clear and obvious ****in dick heads

Arsenal are a ****in horrible team. I used to appreciate them under Wenger and liked the way he brought through players from the youth team to play attractive football. Their current manager is the opposite to that - buying loads of expensive players and making them play Pulis-ball. I hope city ****in catch them

First drops the ball on the player then tries shoving him. Should be red card right there.

No benefit to use in that match but itsthe type of talking point that could generate so much noise it will put a target on his back from refs. If the badground noise to that is also Arsenal generally being snides then it could quickly unravel on them. Fingers crossed

Is that because he probably would have reacted badly to the Martinelli challenge and got himself a red or some other reason?

I have looked at the incident again on Ref Watch, how the hell does Ibu get a yellow and Jesus get away with nothing???
