Back to league action & Burnley at home. Hopefully the players got some confidence by scoring 4 goals today. I imagine Ekitike comes back but does Arne start Gakpo on the right with Flo on the left or Frimpong on the right with Gomez RB? I imagine Kerkez comes back for Robbo & Ryan for Jones or Macca.

100% but it’s where he’ll play him that’s open for debate. Dom is wasted at RB so for me I’d start Joe Gomez. At some point Slot has to give either Ramsay or Endo some minutes even if it’s just to close the game out. This might be his opportunity

I would have thought that if ramsay didn't get a minute against Barnsley, then he won't be getting any time v Burnley.....unless there is a crisis

Jones had a good understanding with Wirtz and Wirtz with Ekitike I would be trying to get those guys on the pitch together whenever possible.

If Gomez comes in at RB you would doubt he will play 90 mins my guess would be 60-70 max before someone else needs to cover that position for the remainder of the game, you could move Frimpong there, but I guess it will be Szoboszlai, but as the season goes on you can't keep doing that with little to no cover as players need breaks I think we have to get the likes of Ramsay and Endo on to allow other players to have breaks or we are going to have injuries or run out of steam as we get further into the season.

Young Scanlon just returned from injury & I wonder if Arne thinks more highly of him over Ramsay or Endo on the bench once he’s back up to speed? I doubt it, just putting it out there as an option.

Yeah I think you’re right actually, maybe I read that he played RB in the friendly recently ?
