There does come a point when, no matter if we think Slot is a decent manager, we just have to make a change to reinvigorate a 4th place position and the fans support. Not sure it's entirely his fault, but he's not helping much.

Slot can't make a difference, have top question if he can see what the issues are, he certainly isnt making any changes that make sense.
We know the squad is depleted, but he as options to alter things and he doesnt make the best of what hes got.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Said the same in the Robertson thread. Slot was shouting at players to knock the ball out of play so Endo could come on.
Us being stuck with ten men is not on Slot. It is on the players who seemed to think they knew better and then cost us a goal.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Partially, but where was the sub? He wasn't ready to come on, he was stripping off slowly and receiving instructions from the coach in the dugout. If he'd been up and ready on the touchline I'm sure things would have been different. It's a much clearer signal than a manager flapping his arms and talking in a loud stadium. If Endo's number had been on the 4th official's board and he was stretching on the touchline, the ball would have gone out. Hell, the ref would have delayed their free kick for the substitution. The lack of urgency was in the dugout.Last edited by Kenneth; 25-01-26, 02:50 PM.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

The second gomez got clattered by Alison the bench should have got a sub up and moving, even only as a precautionary measure.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostPartially, but where was the sub? Maybe I'm wrong but surely the ball went out multiple times in that 7 mins, there must have been a fair bit of faffing about by the bench in that time where he wasn't ready. It should take no more that 2 mins from Gomez going down to the sub coming on, every other team in the league can manage thatLast edited by Exiled_red; 25-01-26, 03:08 PM.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Just watched it again. Gomez remained on the pitch for 2 mins after the collision and then went off, then it took 3 more minutes for endo to appear on the touchline, so 5 mins after the collision. In that time, they had a free kick less than a minute after Gomez went off, then we spend almost all of it in possession without the ball going out. We had a shot (one of our 4 shots on target in the game) but it went into the keeper's hands. Between minutes 3 and when they scored, the ball was still in play and entirely in Bournemouth's possession.
So it was only the fault of the players if you think they should have put the ball out when there was no sub ready. We had five minutes after the collision or 3 mins after Gomez went off to get Endo on and didn't because he wasn't ready, and/or we were deciding whether Gomez could continue.Last edited by Kenneth; 25-01-26, 04:49 PM.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years
