    It's 45 mins of football, it's no big deal either way for any player, especially a striker. He can be anonymous for 89 mins and win the game.

    There is no point drawing conclusions about a game, nevermind a player, from a first half.

        My comment was he's been poor in about 8 games against top teams. Not looking at him in isolation of a half of a game. Great season but looking more and more like a flat track bully which is useful, sure.

            Which games, he didn't start against Arsenal away, Chelsea away, Man Utd at home, so not many games to judge him on

                            It is a tempo thing, though isn't it. We can't be 100mph all the time, we all saw how that made the team suffer under Klopp. But now we are upping it, now is the time to score. If we haven't scored in the next 10-15 we are looking at a draw at best I think.
