I don’t see the need for Slot to say this. And even if he is going to there are still ways where you can put a positive spin on things. It’s abysmal management.

If it was said just like in that, then it is fine until the "...and I will do the same tomorrow" bit.

Am curious if he did say all that together or if he did say all those things but certain bits got put in out of context to make it read worse.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Yeah, its really unhelpful. I'm not sure myself if Ramsay is the right choice either but what's Slot has said here and in the past is totally unhelpful.

Klopp got a tune out of Rhys and Nat FFS, no one thought they were world beaters, well maybe the odd one.

This almost seems personal, certainly stubborn. Reminiscent when Mourinho would dig out Shaw weekly or latterly Amorim on Mainoo, not that i'm putting Ramsay in that calibre of player.

Yeah I’m not convinced Ramsay is the solution either. But what sort of message is this to any young player.

We won the Leafue Cup with a team full of kids who were booted on by a manager that believed in youth players. I don’t like this kind of messaging at all.

He could just perhaps try a bit harder to consider the wider messaging about young players. He is pretty blunt here but that’s also just his way. I don’t think he is seeing the bigger picture here.

They don’t need to be the best players to fill in but they need to feel like they are supported and backed. You need a manager who can make the players feel they’re not only good enough, even if they aren’t, but can get them to play above their usual standards.

He managed to get plenty of players to lift their levels last season. For whatever reason so many of his good qualities from last season have disappeared.

I can’t stand listening to or watching him anymore.

Nobody expected another Klopp as he was truly a one-off, but this guy is the compete opposite of him. I know the Dutch are direct but he’s a horrible man manager.

It’s a shame when you compare the squad who won the League Cup in ‘24 - and the chances that Klopp gave the kids over the years - to how the youth team is treated now. Going to be very difficult to attract and retain youngsters with this fella in charge.

One thing I do not miss and it is watching post and pre match interviews. Same with half time waffle and post/pre match waffle from pundits. Stopped watching them last season as most of what the "pundits" have to say is just clickbait nonsense and that then turned into me not watching player/manager interviews far more often than not.

Think it has played a big part in a ****e season of footy not been made feel worse for me.

yeah I checked out of that ****. The fact I watch whatever channel is best on the "firestick", thankfully lets me miss a lot of that drivel. I'll watch a few clips on youtube now and again though.

A win is essential & with Chelsea dropping 2 points at home & United doing the same at WH 5th place is still doable.

Man utd got a late equaliser. This is still must win, but unless something drastic happens we aren't making top 5. 24 points from 20 games is abysmal.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
