21 points out of 36 only 3 clean sheets, these are the games we have to be winning. Aside from the West Ham win and Forest loss there all the other games were decided by a single goal.

I know there are no easy games in the PL etc but to challenge for the title or even CL these are the games you need to be winning, if we can barely score against them and we almost always concede we are in the ****

It's all already been said, but **** me Gakpo needs to be binned off +Slot needs to stop being a coward & set his team up to win & not to 'not lose.

The players look mentally drained, unsurprising as Slot only trusts 13 of them out of the whole squad.

No excuses for bad manangment of players, for all intents & purposes Slot has morphed in to Amorim in terms of player managment, which is astounding to me after winning the league with most of these players.

Not so much that he needs to be binned off, is more, for me, that you cannot start both him and Salah.

Has to be one or the other and then have either pace and/or directness/tenacity on the other flank. Otherwise it remains too one paced and one dimensional on both flanks at the same time.

Gakpo imo is still a very decent player and one that would be a good utility player for both the left flank and the ST positions.


The mad thing is that when you watch us play an awful lot of the recycling of the ball, the two, three, four touches on the ball etc would go away to some degree if we had direct forward movement on at least one flank.

I know we do not have any genuine top class wide men at the club at present but Chiesa and Rio between them bring a mix of directness, pace and tenacity and as such I would be throwing them in more until we get to the summer and are able to bring in some quality.

Hell give one flank to Chiesa and Rio to share each game and the other to Salah and Gakpo. First name of each paring there gets 60 mins and the second name comes on for the final 3 mins plus added on time. That way the starters get 60 minutes to just empty their tanks and the subs gets 30 + mins to run hard against tiring legs.

Plus it keeps it that both flanks have different approaches for full games.

Could also mix Frimpong in there as an option for the right.

Have no idea why Salah keeps getting starts though and is back to the point where I am thinking that the manager has been told he must start him rather than the manager starting him because he thinks he is a good fit.

And I am using the word manager there when Slot is not that, he is the head coach which again feeds into my thinking that he is being told to play Salah.



Salah on the other hand is totally shot and think the chances of selling him in the sumer may be gone now due to his form and also the newest conflict in the Middle East.

Slot's his own man. I can't believe Hughes is telling him to start Salah and Gakpo, and he is blindly following orders. His subs are too little too late and don't make sense. In-game tactics are for the head coach, and he is the one who defines our style of play, which is boring, passive, and has proven ineffective.

I would have accepted him pulling Salah and Gakpo and bringing on Gomez and Robbo, trying Fringpong and Kerkz as wingers last night. Rio and Fede both brought a directness and energy to the game that had been sadly missing. That Salah and Gakpo came out for the second half after stinking the place out for months now shows Slot either hasn't got the guts to make early changes, or worse, doesn't understand when they are required.

Time for him to go. I'd take any alternative over this ****e right now. Thankfully, I'm at a gig o on Friday night, so I'll miss the rematch.
