It just wouldn't be us if we didn't concede in injury time.
    Really?

There was a defender there so I get the hesitancy, but it was still the best option.

You can tell he's not a natural defender at times.

Can't understand really why he isn't just played as a winger.
          Really?

It's a good job we've got this 'expert' on the commentary team to explain these decisions, otherwise we'd be non-the-wiser.

Much better 2H than I expected. Rio rightfully MoM. Some of our subs are better than some of our starters.
              Really?

A nice routine win; apart from the very late lapse Wolves didn't get a look-in.

Nyoni looked good when he came on, I'd like to see him maybe be trusted a bit more, to be part of a 3 man midfield with 2 senior players guiding him. We could rest Macca or Grav more that way.

Rio was good too, maybe not my MoM, probably give that Robbo, but he looked willing to take players on. Perhaps could release the ball a bit earlier some times, but that is probably something that will come with more game time.

Sage words from Robbo on squad competition.

Good 2nd half that. Frimpong looked dangerous when he came on , Rio is such a breath of fresh air & Trey won a few tackles too.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Good watch the second half, enjoyed that. More like it with a bit more tempo to the play.

Having Robertson behind Rio definitely helped him. You could see him talking to him and encouraging him. They worked well together and it seemed to bring the best out of Robertson too.

Nice to see Nyoni get some more time and did well with his short spell. Morrison got involved in his few minutes and deserves it with the form he’s in for the u-21’s.

Wirtz back from injury and getting some time before the champions league and VVD getting a little rest.

                          Good night indeed.

                            Agree with all of that

Robbo and Kerkez have shared that LB role, Kerkez just shading it in terms of appearances, but it looks like Robbo is the cup games and Kerkez is mainly the prem, so I'm not sure why BBC are insisting he's under played. He's looking good cos he's fresher, he's got energy in his legs.

Yeh he did well, but you could tell he wasn't comfortable with it, as his pace of speech went from fast to supersonic.
