Koumas makes it 4-2. He’s done really well since coming on and has shown his work rate.
Nyoni has been the standout in this second half. He’s run the show and always looked to pass forwards at every chance.

Yeah agreed. I started smiling at the through ball passes he was making perfectly weighted each time. This might be one of Iraola's tactics for the season?
Sunderland looked shattered before the fourth came. Finally we look like the CL team and not second best. What the hell was Slot doing?

I didn't watch the game but reading on here and Match reports elsewhere it all sounds fairly positive, obviously it's the first game of preseason and all that.

So I had to go out after 55 mins but I watched the replay & im impressed with lots of what I saw. Yeah I know it’s only PS but for a lot of the younger players this is their opportunity to shine & lots stood up to the challenge. With Jo going off after 7 minutes I feared we were in for a long night with the 2 kids thrown into this but they didn’t do too bad of a job all things considered . And on either side of them were two unreliable fullbacks in Frimpong & Kostas. Kieran Morrison was a handful & took his goal very well. I was also very impressed with Lewis Koumas & I wonder if we offload Fede if he can fill the void being able to cover the left & centre? And for me THE shining light was watching Trey Nyoni ping passes around from deep. He really is a talent & Iraola must be licking his lips in anticipation of the ceiling of this guy. Nice to see Ramsay with an assist & it makes you wonder if he’s got a chance of sticking around to at least the start of the season?Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.Comment

We were great in Slots first pre-season and **** in his second.
While can't get too carried away with good results, very average results are a concern.
