Football is supposed to be a form of entertainment. This is worse than watching the washing machine go around and around.
People are struggling to put food on the table. Yet people pay to watch this live every week? It's nuts.

I once lived in a house share - and for reasons unknown, the washing machine was in the bathroom. One day I was hogging the bathroom to the point where the washing machine finished. Of course it is hard to see what is in a washing machine when it is spinning, but once it stops.. Anyway, it was full of very fancy and colourful knickers.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostFootball is supposed to be a form of entertainment. Problem was that this was an all male house share.
But I did note, when I left the bathroom, that the old geezer we shared with was very keen to get in...Really?

It feels like Robbo doesn't know what he's supposed to be doing when we are in a back 3 shape. He doesn't want to go wide because Rio is hugging the touchline so he's just hanging around the the attacking left position, and he's not a player that is any good there. Also, Gakpo is doing pretty well, but he's having to drop deeper to see the ball and that's where Wirtz is supposed to be pulling the strings. Not sure if Gakpo should be staying higher or Wirtz should be less crap, or both.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Spurs are so low in confidence why didn’t they just get right into them from the start. Don’t let them settle. The longer they stay in the game the more confident they will be they can get something. We’ve seen it consistently this season.
As soon as the ball is moved a bit quicker or we win it higher up the pitch they can create opportunities. Force them into mistakes and get at them.
Or get the ball into the wide players quicker so they have a bit more space to run at defenders.

About 5 mins before half time we got the ball to Frimpong quicky and he had space, but there were only yellow shirts in the box. Everyone ****ing jogs around the pitch. And to be fair, most of our players are pretty slow when running too.Originally posted by peterbread View PostSpurs are so low in confidence why didn’t they just get right into them from the start. you would think go for the throat at home, against a team who's confidence is on the floor... but that's not really how we play under Slot. Unfortunately it gives teams too much time on the ball and a chance to get back into the game and at one nil, there's always a chance against us. We are always much more effective when we shift the ball quicker and press... just seems to suit the lads better imo.
