I'd rather he just kicked **** out a player than grapple them to ground. If you're absolutely intent on fouling someone then at least do it properly and either kick them up the arse or chop them in half. It's not difficult.

No issues with playing a bit more defensively but if you wanted to play do that away from home why not just stick to the usual setup but make it a 4141 or something. Why completely change the system to something the players haven’t played before and dint have enough time to get ready for.

Look what it took to overturn the Barca game. That team had the leaders on and off the pitch and the fight and belied instilled in them by Klopp. This team has had everything that was great about them slowly drained away and we’ve been left with this.

There are games where you need a 'classic European away performance' and this situation was probably one of them, we have been in these types of situation before I can think of games under Houllier and Benitez in particular, where you want to quieten the crowd slow the game down etc. be defensively solid and come away with a 0-0 or even better nick a goal if you can, but you have a game plan for that and a threat going forward, we didn't have that today. That was a damage limitation exercise, we didn't defend well, it was only 2-0 because they couldn't finish and because the ref was generous in not giving them a pen. But going forward we looked ****ing clueless and offered no threat, we weren't good at any aspect of the game, the result just wasn't bad enough to get Slot the sack.

There's no way I see us going through but it will be interesting to see what he does in the 2nd leg because we need to go for it, but that will leave alot of space for them to exploit and to be honest I think it's much more likely to be 2-0 or 3-0 to them than 2-0 or 3-0 to us.
